Letter to DA Community
| Hello ALL, I just had this feeling that I want to put out a shout to every single person here on DA!!!! A bit of my back ground: I have worked for many years in the retail industry, UUUGHH!! I am currently hunting another profession, but I digress... My point is that I have never had the time nor the means to pursue something I enjoy... being out of work has shown me that there is more to life than the daily grind... DA has given me insight and inspiration to work on my inner self and look at the world in a more artistic manner. I have always loved taking "snap shots" I call them that because that is what they were. My step father was a very talented photographer, although there were many disagreements in growing up I always looked at his work as beautiful. I never in my mind thought I could do this type of photography, I have had a few people comment on some of my photos and that has sparked an awesome feeling in myself. I want to share that feeling with all of you!! I am excited and proud to be a part of a community as diverse and open as DA.. I enjoy many hours just browsing all the wonderful things on DA, I have yet to tap into the forums or chat and maybe that is in the near future,... who knows... Peace to ALL and Thanks to all for giving me some eye sight I can actually see with!!  04-12-09PS I am a FAVEING fool so hope you don't mind but I will probably fave ya at least once!! |
